Training Terms of Use ("Terms") Last updated: June 8, 2025
Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using this Training portal ("Training Platform" ) website operated by Karen Allen as a learning platform ("us", "we", or "our").
- Your access to and use of Training Platform is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
- These Terms apply to all visitors, subscribers, registrants and others who access or use Training Platform.
- By accessing or using Training Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you are not eligible for membership, and should not subscribe, register or access Training Platform.
Eligibility
Training Platform content is intended for adult learners who value the self care approaches of holistic health, natural and traditional medicine. This material is presented for educational purposes, and is not intended as individual medical advice for any learner or subscriber for any specific medical condition. Each Training Platform program learner agrees with this intention of training, and that he or she meets this criteria of eligibility.
Termination
If any subscriber breaches these Terms, Training Platform may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever without limitation. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Participation and Permissions
Each subscriber or participant in the Training Platform programs has the opportunity to attend live online sessions within the subscribed or registered programs. During these live online sessions, recordings capture visual and audio content and text Q&A / chat from presenters and participants. These recordings are posted for review in the Training Platform website and external websites which may include Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram. By their participation, all attendees grant permission for these recordings to be used for educational purposes by us. Each participant is encouraged to carefully consider their comfort level with participation, understanding that live sessions are recorded, and recordings are posted for review by others. For any participant who would prefer NOT to have personal interactions or content visible in recordings, these accommodations are offered:
- keep your camera off and microphone on mute during any live Meet UP session (these are already off in webinars)
- participate through chat comments that are sent only to the presenter or moderator of the session
- in MeetUP or Webinar, use the Zoom 'Rename' functionality to change your name in the meeting or webinar to something anonymous
Refund Policy
Our materials, events and classes are carefully planned, advertised with candor, and implemented for the best possible participant experience. We understand that a mismatch can arise between a participant's expectations and the experience delivered. An unexpected life event or competing work demands can disrupt plans. Sometimes things do not work out as expected.
We will cheerfully process your refund request based on this schedule:
- Subscriptions are eligible for refunds within 5 days of the initial purchase or renewal upon request.
- Prior to 1st session of any live class or series: full refund of purchase price, less $10 admin fee
- After the 1st session, before any additional live class session: refund of 50% of purchase price
- After Session 2 of any live class or series: no refund is given
Refund of any class purchase:
- is returned to the form of payment used for purchase during enrollment (your credit should be visible on your card within 3 days)
- terminates your access to any of the refunded course's live sessions, recordings or online resources such as downloadable reference materials
- does not affect access to other live courses you have purchased, including live sessions, recordings or online resources available to which you are entitled
Exchanges
If you are considering a refund request because of a scheduling issue that prevents participation in a purchased live class series, you can request that your paid enrollment be moved to a subsequent class series of the same type.

Access, Security and Confidentiality
Training Platform allows learners to view recorded training videos, download course documents, and attend live training, meetup, and study group sessions as defined with each subscription type. Only the individual subscribed or registered for a class or event has access to these materials. Login access is for the subscribed individual only, and can not be shared for a group. Any login showing access from multiple IP addresses will receive an inquiry/warning, and a repeated pattern of use suggesting that the login details are being shared with others will be terminated.
Learner data that is held within Training Platform includes your user name and password, and contact information that you entered to set up your account. It also includes details of course completion, quiz results and your posted comments. When a learner cancels a Training Platform subscription, the learner's historical data is kept to provide continuity for a reactivated subscription in future. If you prefer to have all of your user data deleted when you cancel, you can request the Training Platform office to complete this, and it will be done within 7 days after cancellation. Deletion will be confirmed by email after completion.
No credit card or other payment method data is held on the Training Platform site at any time. Our merchant banking vendors, Stripe, Paypal, Link, Klarna etc keep your financial data secure. Payment history with date and amount of payment is kept on Training Platform for each learner. A learner has visibility of this data on the subscriber account page.
The Training Platform does not give, sell, lease or otherwise make available any learner data. Email address, first name and last name for learner accounts are exported regularly to Brevo, our email vendor, where it is securely held for Training Platform newsletters. Subscribers may opt out of newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link present in every newsletter.
